The island, widely considered “the pearl of the Indian ocean”, has a rich history which complements its natural beauty and biodiversity.
Our villa is located along the southern coastal belt of Sri Lanka, in close proximity to a diverse range of natural wonders and historic sites. From the Kalamatiya bird sanctuary near the property to the Dutch Fort in Galle, one hour away.
“Ranawara” is named after the bright yellow flower of the same name that is indigenous to the area and found in abundance in the gardens of the property.
The villa is easily accessible from the A2 highway and just two and a half hours away from Colombo city centre and three hours from the airport.
